It's that arduous process between filming and screening: editing. From the first string out to final cut it's examining each shot, evaluating all the audio, and creating anything else we need to make the film work. So from here until the end, I'll be sitting beside Ted whilst we make revisions a movie out of all the raw sound and image that we have captured. That being said, here are a couple of situations that you may need to be kind to us until the holidays while we work away on the project:
• If you see AT and I around campus with a couple of microphones, that's just us capturing some sounds for later use. Be kind because we look kind of stupid with those headphones on.
• If you see Ted or I around town with sunken-in eyes, be kind to us because we are strangers to the sun and have grown accustom to the monitor's light.
• If you see Eric around town, yell at him and tell him to go back to classes in Chicago. You need to be cruel to be kind.
*If you see Scott with "crab hands" (computer mouse shaped hands), be kind because he has given up his mobility to help the cause.
That's all for today. Keep checking back for the updates, the highlights, and the next glimpse of the film. Go Vikes! Go Twinkies!
