In keeping with the status quo of revisions, the editing process has gotten off to a slow start. We have our work cut out for us if we intend to meet several early 2004 deadlines for film festivals. And the big obstacle that has plagued us from day one--funding--doesn't seem to be making things any easier. However, despite all the work that stands between now and our desired completion date for revisions, I believe we will be good-to-go when that deadline hits--exhausted, perhaps.
I suspect most of our news updates in the coming couple of months will be about editing. We are also in the early stages of planning a weeklong series of SPF events and fundraisers; though they'll be a distraction from our vigilant work in the editing room, all should be VERY fun and help us with that ever-loaming funding thing I mentioned earlier. You'll see the occasional bit about those happenings here as well.
Music for revisions is in excellent shape. I've received submissions from a number of very talented artists--local and national. The soundtrack list as it stands now is strong and will definitely be a major highlight of the revisions project. I unfortunately can't make any official announcements about the artists until all legalities have cleared, but you can take my word that it will indeed be very good! Now if I could just find the time to record the song I wrote for the soundtrack...
