Audio Rap and Wrap posted by AT on 11.07.03
For almost two weeks now, I've been diligently processing the hours and hours of recorded audio that accompanied every shoot for revisions. The process is tedious and boring, and it requires my full, undivided attention. I'm about two-thirds done, though, and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The initial audio processing is just the beginning; we all have our work cut out for us in the coming weeks.
What has not been terribly evident on this website lately is the bubbling energy occurring behind the scenes at SPF. Work on revisions has kicked into high gear. We have--count it--ONE scene left to shoot before we declare a wrap! Words cannot express how excited we all are. revisions has officially been in production since late-March 2002, and the mere fact that we will finally be able to call it done is a mighty fine breath of fresh air. Our break will be short-lived, however, because we have deadlines to meet in order to make several film festivals next year. We will now become an editing machine!
Tomorrow I will make my way into the recording studio to record music for the second revisions trailer. James will have it Sunday morning, and I suspect it won't be too long before we have the trailer ready for viewing. Stay tuned!
If you hear excessive partying, yelling, and loud music sometime in the next few days, that's probably just us celebrating the wrap on filming. Don't worry--an official wrap party is in the works, and y'all will certainly be invited.
