Viking Reflections

From the perspective I have right now, there is nothing worse than knowing you're going to be gone during the Vikings game, taping it to watch later, and then having to watch it with that somber feeling of "I already know how this is going to end." I've just returned home from a long and exhausting weekend in the recording studio, and I have decided to forego watching the debacle that was the Vikings game; I'd rather not go through the induced dolor.
I know from various creative experiences in my life that you can sometimes predict the result of a project before it's completed. And if the prediction is a negative one, finishing that project can seem futile and frustrating (similar to watching a taped Vikings maiming). However, to my knowledge, at no time during its two-year construction has revisions ever been considered a worthless task by any of the members of SPF. We have all been frustrated at times, but mostly with our funding situation (that being lack of funding) and our wish to have more time to spend on the film. We are driven, and there is no stopping this vehicle until we've reached our destination.
When I'm old and gray I'll be telling my grandchildren about a crazy movie I made with a bunch of friends of mine. The question is, will I be telling them about twenty-nine more I made after that, or will it be just the one? Either way, the revisions story will be a good one.
