First Post of 2004

Believe it or not, it's actually a good thing that none of us producers have jumped on putting the first news post of 2004 up; we're all too busy with SPF stuff.
Eric paid us an extended visit this holiday season and helped the revisions process along while he was here. He spent some time with James in the editing suite piecing together a few sequences, and we got the voice-overs for the third and final revisions trailer recorded. (That third trailer will focus on the Paul character, acting as something of a counterpart to the newest trailer, "Why I Write," which is about the Nate character.)
The James/Ted corroboration is slowly seeing a rough cut of revisions together. Right now, James is paying particular attention to the opening sequence of the film, which he declares will establish the overall pace. Even though it cost considerable time and money, I don't think any of us are questioning the decision to shoot entirely on 16mm film, rather than a digital format; the footage looks excellent.
Scott is doing a number of website updates and preparing for his work in the editing room. Likewise, I am getting final audio prepared and still piecing together what I've realized will be an amazing music soundtrack.
