Making Progress

I think I've seen the more progress on revisions this week than any other in our 2+ years of working on this project. Earlier this week the rest of the producers and myself have actually been able to watch a few scenes in the complete -- although still rough -- edit. James and Ted have worked out an excellent editing style guide for the film, and some of the techniques they are using really blow my mind. For a film with as few resources as revisions has, it's going to look extremely nice. I can't wait to show you all!
We've also made a final decision on how our opening title sequence is going to look, graphics-wise. We've had all the intro footage shot for a while, so content has been established for quite some time. How it actually will "work" on screen has been up in the air, though. All the film's producers agree that once this sequence is finished, it will seem like we actually have something coming together.
Thanks to all of you for your patience with our slow (and sometimes tedious) production schedule. We know people are anxious to see revisions. We hear questions every day asking when the film will be done, and wish we had a definitive answer for you. We can say, however, that we are working as hard as we can to finish in a timely manner. The team behind this feature-length film is quite small -- there are only a handful of us doing the work that would employ hundreds of people in a Hollywood studio setting. In short, let me assure you that your patience will be well worth it in the end. Thanks!
