Whatta Ya Gonna Do?!

I wonder if the rest of the gang also feel like they almost have to reintroduce themselves...
As previously reported, we had an unfortunate web-related problem a couple weeks ago that led to the brief demise of our website. Nearly everything was recovered--thanks to Scott's backup files--and we're back up with only a few bumps at most.
Our only major loss was about five months' worth of news posts. Don't get me wrong, I'm quite relieved we didn't lose anything more, but I was rather fond of some of the things we included in some of those posts; they were collectively an archive of SPF and its members and contained information, history, short rants, and drops of humor. In fact, when Scott informed us that we'd lost those five months, I immediately flashed back to a bit I put up after we all attended the Twins' season opener, as well as some of my SPF "history" bits, some ramblings about soundtrack work, and the rest of the gang's posts relative to work they were doing or things on their minds.
Hmm... My SPF "history" pieces often drew playful criticism from the rest of the gang. (Sabotage? Nah...)
So I guess I'll employ one of my favorite phrases for situations that are out of one's hands: Whatta ya gonna do?! Looks like we'll have to create some new news to make up for loss of the old, and with revisions inching that much closer to completion, it shall not be long before we start spilling it out. Stay tuned!
