Spring Cleaning
posted by Scott on 04.18.05

It has been a while since I've popped my head in here to say hello. I apologise for my reclusiveness, but the entire SPF staff has been holed up in our respective studios working away. We'll try to be more diligent in letting you know what is happening with the film. We can't make any promises, but we'll try.

On a hugely positive note, revisions seems to be coming along much more quickly these days. This week the production team has a new version of the rough to go over, which is going to be taking up the majority of my personal production time over the next few days. I'm happy to be able to report to you that the rough is finally beginning to feel like a completed movie -- even though there is very little finished sound or music in place, it is starting to hold together as a story alone. This is a great step for us, and it means that soon enough we'll be able to start showing our finished product around. We've had several exciting proposals put forward to us over the past couple of weeks for possible showings. When that time nears, you'll can be sure we will be knocking on doors, emailing, and tapping people on the shoulder while excitedly hollering "hey, guess what ... !" If you want to be among the first on that list of people, sign up on our email list in the upper right corner of the page. If you're not sure you are on our list or not, just put your email address in the system again (it'll tell you if you are already on file), or drop me an email and I'll look into it for you.

In the meantime, I've made a few minor updates to the SPF website. Think of it as a "spring cleaning" in preparation for having all of you over for the big party that will be the revisions premier. A larger update is around the corner for the revisions website too, so keep checking back.
