Throughout the long production run of revisions, at no point prior to now did I ever feel such pressure to produce. Sure, working the shoots on location took a lot of time and energy, but post-production work (for me, that is) is so much more diligent and specific.
This morning I completed processing all of the final dialogue audio for the film. It initially seemed like an endless task, and I honestly can say I lost track of how many hours it took. But it was a much-needed hurdle to jump, because we are rapidly working to get the edit of revisions ready for test screenings--and they will be happening soon.
The next feverish task: Music. Already about 80% of the final music has been placed; in a very short period of time it will all be in. I can't tell you how great it feels to have come this far.
