Those routinely visiting the SPF site recently have likely noticed James' frequent updates this past week or so. Progress on the film lately has been vast, and I think we're all itching to show it--to anyone--because this thing has been so behind-the-scenes so far. But for the time being we'll be releasing our enthusiasm via this posting forum and the email list.
At tonight's meeting our main topic was--surprise--audio. Right now I'm the guy carrying the majority of the responsibility for all the dialogue processing, ADR, Foley, and music (both songs and score). This weekend we'll begin the tall task of tackling full audio needs on a sequence-by-sequence basis. What that means is, in a sense, with each work day the film becomes chronologically a few minutes more complete. We've also all agreed to take several days in a row off of our "regular" jobs in December to give overall post-production a big boost. We want revisions done, if you haven't yet been able to discern that.
The film looks great. We'll keep you updated on those test screenings to-be.
