Verbal Addendums

We've not been posting news bits to the website here too terribly much as of late, mostly because all is about the same: revisions is in post-production, the edit is basically done sans a few tweaks relating to music and audio accommodations, and the final audio mix and master is all that remains to declare revisions "in the can." That perpetual status quo is unfortunately kind of boring news.
What is not boring is what lies shortly ahead. Scott has been hard at work on festival submission packets, that is the DVD and informational items that will be submitted to numerous local, national, and international film festival events, and James and I have been meeting semi-regularly to knock out a couple of minutes of the audio mix at a time.
A short while back I completed all of the musical score that will be featured in revisions. The gang was very supportive of what I did; with every piece I presented to them I attached the quick verbal addendum: "If this doesn't work, tell me and I'll go back and do it again." Not one piece was rejected, and the guys were in fact very complimentary. So I think we did alright with the "experimental" approach I took to score. I plan to post some of it to our MySpace page as soon as we've gotten it back from our mastering engineer.
So the long and tedious process that has been the revisions movie is indeed approaching its commencement. That is good for many obvious reasons--a notable one based on a conversation James and I had just last night... what to do for the next project.
