High Hopes, Humility & Pyramids

Hello, folks! Indeed it has been a very long time since I last posted here to the SPF website.
I've had an extended "what we've all been up to" post in mind for a good couple of months now, but have sadly failed to make the time to organize and write my thoughts down. So here's the quick(er) update:
James and I have been meeting on average once a week to work on the audio mix for revisions. Despite the very limited hours we actually have to work (usually about 9PM to midnight), we've made excellent progress. Still, the process is painstakingly slow. But just as the Egyptians finished pyramids, we will finish revisions--and it will be good (though not quite as grand in scale).
This week James and I discussed how this long production process has in fact benefited the film; in its early stages our enthusiasm drove us, and we had high hopes for the remuneration our efforts would bring. After so many changes both technical and personal, we now have no other goal than to complete revisions to the best of our ability and to see it through to a quality, realized fruition. Humility and a slowly-but-surely collected wisdom helped us arrive to this point. We will hold events, screenings, and submit to film festivals, but the main reward will have already occurred.
In other news, I now hold the final audio masters of the six score pieces I composed for revisions, and we are planning to go ahead with a web-based release of them--soon! We will, of course, post all of the release info as soon as it is ready to go.
