Next Step: Audio Mastering

As we are quickly approaching the end of audio mixing, our attention will soon be turned to audio mastering. Where mixing took an exceptionally long time, mastering will be warp speed in comparison. So as we finish up the few remaining tracks, we look forward to handing revisions over to the mastering engineer.

For those of you who don’t know, audio mastering is the final step in audio post-production. To boil it down to it’s simplest form: it is the process of taking all the mixed audio tracks and making one master audio track. It takes a highly skilled individual to master a film and we have great mastering engineer lined up. More on him in a later update ... and a finished film for you all very soon.
