We've been neck-deep in sound here in the Siege Perilous Films studio lately. Between finalizing the revisions audio mix and putting finishing touches on the film's score, we've been doing a lot of listening. So when I heard the Pixies song Debaser on the radio this afternoon it got me thinking. It is one of the few songs I think I've ever heard that is about a movie. Not in a movie. Not for a movie. About a movie: specifically Luis Bunuel and Salavado Dali's 1929 seminal Surrealist classic Un Chien Andalou, which remains a film school "must see" 80 years after its production.
